Alright, I got a bit of news today.
First off, I had a doctor appointment today. Well, two actually, one was a last minute thing. Both were about my knee; I been having problems for a while now and I figured maybe I should get it checked out. My first appointment was at 8.20 this morning, sucks, I know! I even got lost trying to find the building because I never been there before. But I found it with minutes to spare. You know how when you have doctor appointments, and the doctor's nurse comes in first to check your pulse and play 21 questions with you before the doctor has a chance? Yeah. I hate that part. It's like "you wont diagnose anything for me so back off." But I had to suffer through it like anyone else. Then he's like, "Ok, doc wants another set of x-rays so I'm gonna give you a pair of shorts to borrow." I says ok and changed in to the ugly shorts they provide. I had the x-rays. Doc comes in when its developed (finally, bastard! where've you been!) and tells me that my knee cap is completely off center from where it should be. I was like damn... And then he says that it makes my joints grind together which is causing arthritis. Great! Another thing I have to deal with in the future. Then he says he wants to do an MRI (magnetic resonance image, magnets! cool!) which was the second appointment i had. An MRI is the most boring-est thing in the entire fucking world. If you never had an MRI, you lay on an uncomfortable bed for 45 minutes. Seems nice so far. UNTIL they tell you you cant move the entire time, one wrong move and the whole thing is ruined and you'll have to start over. Plus, since it deals with magnetic imaging, you cant have a cell phone in there! FUCK! I'm tellin ya. I was bored out of my skull. Until I figured out, hey... I can take a nap because its semi-dark in there. So I took a nap but as soon as I got to sleep, it was over! DAMN IT! And since you cant move, your circulation stops the whole time so once you get up its like... woah... blood starts flowing again. Awkward feeling. But anyway, doc says if theres a tear in the cartiledge in my knee then I'm fucked for the rest of my life cuz I'm too young to get it fixed now. But if there's not, (which i'm hoping for) then I have to have a start out of 6 weeks of physical therapy, then a 6 week check up. Blah.
So that's that set of news. Now for another set.
My dad's gf, Donna, kept hounding me this afternoon to make up my mind about going to Highland Community College. I decided I will go but have not decided on when. Well, at least, not until now. So she was hounding me and hounding me and finally I gave in and says, "Ok, ok! I'll go next semester." So that was that. I'm going to Highland next semester, tomorrow I will go to Highland to meet with an advisor and make up my schedule for that semester. Woop woop!
But the cool part about Highland is: I'm guaranteed a scholarship for tuition and books which is a good chunk of money. Of course, there's a catch. Each department has their own set of standards one has to meet in order to keep the scholarship every semester. I'm going into Computer Graphics which is in the Business department. So I have to keep up 3 things: 1) maintain a 2.5 gpa (no prob) 2) be enrolled in 6 credit hours of Business courses per semester (ok...) and 3) be an active member of BPA (which is Business Principles of America, not a big deal, I was in that in high school). So I'm looking forward to being an active college student. Wee.
I think this is my longest post yet. But I'm not sure... Its long enough I think. And that's all the news I got so yeah.
Catch ya later.
