Today was my first day of my second year of college. I had three classes; Word Processing (I know, it sucks, but I have to take it cuz its a requirement), Intro to Accounting, and Frontpage. I found out, however, an hour before my Frontpage class that it had been canceled this semester so I had to find another business class to take its place. My advisor, Mrs. James, suggested Personal Finance for a class. So, during my Accounting class, I had to quickly think about taking that class. If I didnt, I would've had only 14 credits this semester so I decided to take it so now I'm back up to 17. It was 10:45 when I got out of accounting so I had to run to my advisor's office, have her fill out a drop/add form. Then I had to run it to Administration, then down to the bookstore to get the book which turns out they wont have until next week. Then I had to high tail it back to the classroom I just came from (small campus...) so I could make it to the first period for that class. I made it. :D After that class, I had lunch which consisted of chicken nuggets, fries from yesterday, a salad and a delicious mountain dew. And now here I sit.
My finger has not gotten better and its been 5 days since I smashed it. fml.
Last night, my school had a block party to celebrate back to school. We had a live performer who's name I dont remember but he was pretty good. His last song was the Itsy, Bitsy, Spider song. I also met new possible friends, Jessica and Michael. I didn't talk to them much but they seem pretty cool. I'm sure I'll see them again. I also met Stacie, who is my friend Rebecca's friend. And some theater people my roommate knows.
OMG. I'm so sick of my roommate. Last night, she had people over past curfew (yes, we have curfew but its like at 1 am) and then she had a boy stay over and they slept together. Ugh. If this turns out like last year, I will say something cuz I'm sick of that shit. When she finally woke up, all I heard was, "I'm so fuckin tired." Go to bed earlier than 4 am, bitch. And, "I don't wanna walk all the way to Irvin Hall. It's too fuckin far away." From our dorm to Irvin Hall is a 5-7 minute walk. it won't kill you. Besides, you need the exercise. Cant forget this one, "It's fuckin raining, I dont wanna fuckin walk in the rain." Get an umbrella. The rain wont kill you.
She complains about EVERYTHING. It's getting old. Grow up.
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved - Helen Keller

MAKE IT STOP
I haven't posted in a while, I know, but I'm so mad that I'm going to right now.
I moved into my dorm apartment on Saturday. Saturday night, I figured out that my roommate snores. Loudly. It scared me awake at 4 in the morning on Sunday until I figured out it was her. Failing to go back to sleep, I got up and moved out into the living room with my computer and an awesome oreo poptart. So what if I'm an adult, cool poptarts are still the bomb. Anyway, as I came back in the room for a Dr. Pepper, she proceeded to tell me to "Join us in the force" in a very creepy, low voice. I was scared and left the Dr. Pepper. I went out and had water instead. Sunday night rolls around, and I climbed in bed way before I knew she'd be back from her theater thing. I woke up, on my own, at 3:44 this morning. I rolled over, saw her on her computer, rolled back over and tried to quickly go back to sleep so I could sleep before the snoring started. She scared me awake again around 6 something. Trying to be smart, I plugged in my headphones into my computer and turned my music up loud. Problem: only one ear bud works. Along with her snoring, her phone goes off. It's been ringing non stop for 25 minutes now. I can say I'm mad cuz I was hoping to get lots of sleep today since we didnt have to get up early. Wrong. Oh, and I was on facebook this morning, and found out she has multiple personalities. I'm scared. And feel like my life is suddenly that of the movie "Me, Myself, and Irene." We'll see what comes of it.
I get my books today. I'm actually excited cuz school is getting closer and closer. Tomorrow night there's a block party. I'm looking forward to that cuz it's the only thing we have scheduled tomorrow and it's not til 5:30. Blah.
Yesterday, we had housing orientation. It was mandatory, so... we had to go. After an hour, we were split up into groups according to our building. I was in group 1 and we had lunch first which consisted of fried chicken, mashed potatos, green beans, corn, and rolls. It was delicious. Then at 11:45, my group had to meet in the gym for a sexual harassment lecture. Our lecturer was hilarious and I felt like I was in the movie "Mean Girls" during the sex education scene with Coach Carr. "You will get pregnant and die." Lolz.
On Saturday, I went to an indoor bbq, since it was raining and on my way out, I got my finger caught in the door. I'm not sure how but its been hurting for those past 2 days :( hopefully it wont last too much longer.
Anyway, since my finger is wrapped up to another finger, its hard to type and I'm gonna stop typing since nothing much is going on anyway. But before I go...

Midnight Ramblings
I know I haven't posted in a while. Don't worry. I've heard all about it. I just haven't felt like talking about myself and spending the time to sit down and write about what's happened since my last post. But now, since I'm bored, I think I will.
Since my last post, I've made a trip to Dallas, Texas with my club from school (Business Professionals of America) for our national competitions on June 17. I entered into the Fundamentals of Spreadsheets event, the Advanced Office Systems and Procedures event, as well as being a substitute for one of my friends in the Web Site Design Team event. I placed top 10 in everything and I placed first in Fundamentals of Spreadsheets. Yay me. I have three medals, one for placing top 10 in each event, and a huge, possibly 9"x13" plaque for coming in first place. It's nice and shiny with the exception of a few fingerprints. I also have a picture, a framed picture, of me and my friend Rebecca, whom I did the Web Site Design Team event with and, if I do say so myself, we looked smashing. All in all, I had a fantastic time. I got to ride my first ever plane which was way more exciting the second time, on the trip home, that it was on the trip there. Why? Apparently, I fell asleep during the ride to Dallas. There's a picture somewhere to prove it...
Other than that, my summer has been quite boring. I had a BBQ planned with a few of my friends but my sister sprung on me, the morning of our BBQ, at 5:30 in the morning that I had to babysit all day. I missed the BBQ except for about an hour, minus the drive up there and the drive back. I have to say, I was quite pissed but she pays my bill so... what can I say...
I did manage to finally get a job Tuesday. Where? Hy-Vee. With my friend Chase and apparently our friend Kris. I start on Monday and, honestly, I can't wait. I'll finally get some money in the bank and I can start saving up for the tattoo I've always wanted.
I go back to college on the 15th, can't wait for that either. Although I don't want to go back because I just got a job, I'm looking forward to meeting some new friends, mainly my roommates, and seeing my old friends who I have missed lots this summer.
I think that's all I feel like rambling about right now so erm... have a good night or good day and I'll be sure to keep up with my thoughts.
Aloha.

EPIC day of EPICNESS!
Ok, so today was actually a funfilled day. All the way from about noon up until about .. an hour and a half ago.
Starting with the beginning.
I took my sis to the plasma donation center so she could make some money to pay for her car to get fixed. Then we went home because I had my nephew, Skyler, in my car still and I wanted to go hang with some friends. So I took Skyler home, made my sister some lunch, and then I left around 12 ish to go to the mall to meet Chase and Hazel. I met up with Chase about 12:30 and Hazel finally showed up about 1 ish. Then we talked for like, seriously, an hour and a half about what we wanted to do, specifically, what to eat. We piled into my car and traveled to Dillon's where Hazel wanted chicken but we didn't get chicken! took us a while to figure out that we were going to have chinese food. So we went to a buffet style place (my favorite place, a.k.a. the Golden Wok) and we ate. Then our friend Sarah showed up, after we were done eating btw, and we watched her eat. Then it took us quite a while to figure out what our next plan was.
We finally settled on swimming.
So, after changing into swimming clothes, I picked up Chase, and Hazel picked up Sarah, and we met at Hazel's house (out in the middle of no where) to swim at the creek out there. We trudged through water, rocks, gravel, mud, bugs (and apparently leeches) for quite a ways before we FINALLY got to the decent swimming area where we proceeded to jump in. To me, it was about.. armpit deep and I'm about 5' 7" ... Well, Chase jumped in and what did he discover? IT WAS COLD!!! Bloody freezing. I tried to walk in to get used to the water but ended up to my knees in mud. I got stuck and my shoes weren't coming free. Hazel walked over and reached in to the hole where my leg was stuck and we managed to get my leg free before we could get my shoe free. Got my shoes free and then decided to just jump in. IT WAS COLD!!! Like freezing. I injured my hand when I got in and the water was so cold, that I just stuck my hand in the water to make it feel better. The water was THAT cold. It feels better now too. So that's good. I think it was about 5 ish before we made it to the swimming area. We left about 6 ish and made it back to land about 6:30 - 6:45 ish, and Chase and I made it home around 7. I quickly jumped in the shower and checked for bugs when Chase texts me and says he found a leech on his foot. A LEECH! So I had about 3 showers before I convinced myself I was leech free.
Soon as I hopped out of the shower, what happens?!
BEST STORM OF THE SEASON! That's what! I was watching my nephew and the rain started pounding my house so naturally, I went to go look and our patio umbrella almost blew away, some of the siding on our house (I live in a trailor) came off, theres a big tree right up next to my house, seriously, bastard tree couldnt be any closer, and part of it fell off onto the house and into the neighbor's yard. There's still a branch up on the roof. And there's another big tree in our front yard, there's a branch hanging there too. The whole street went from cement to trees in a matter of minutes! After it stopped raining like hardcore, of course, I went outside to kind of pick things up and grab our things from the street. I had to make sure my house was still together. Besides the siding, it's all in tack. There's a house across the street from me that had about 3 BIG branches fall on their roof. And they were big. Two of the guys went up on the roof and pushed them off. Wise choice. So, half of my neighborhood is covered in leaves, twigs, brances, bigger brances, and whatever was in people's yards. I took a walk up the other side of the neighborhood and NOTHING! It was fine except maybe a few brances and some dude's shed fell over. But my part of the neighborhood had it bad! I'm totally taking pictures tomorrow if the branches are still there by the time I get up. I'm getting ready to head to bed so I should be up in time.
Overall, I loved it. It was FANTASTIC!!!
That was my epic day.
And here comes round 2 of said storms. Better get off.
But I'm leaving ya'll with this:

But I'm leaving ya'll with this:
Awake at this hour?! Yes.
So, I've been bugged for the past few days because I havent posted in a while. Well, Chase, here's your post! At 6 am.
Why at 6 am...? Because I'm awake and nobody else is. I actually went to bed before midnight last night. I think it was about 10.. or so. and I woke up at 5:30. Just... woke up. I had a sandwich and some Mountain Dew and now I'm wide awake.
I dont know what to blog about really... I dont have a job yet, although I'm looking.
OH The time has finally come for my Texas trip. Yeah, the one where I was supposed to go on back in May. I'm leaving tomorrow night to go stay with my step brother and his cousin (who actually is one of my best buds in Highland) that way I dont have to get up at 2 am Wednesday morning to leave my house by 3 because we have to be in Highland by 5:30 am and its a two hour drive. So I'm staying with them Tuesday night because they live 45 minutes away from Highland. I'm pretty excited. It's my first plane ride and I hate heights with a passion. But I'm sure I'll be fine. It's only an hour and 45 minute flight to Dallas... I'm taking a lot of pictures tho!
So, it's raining. Well, thunderstorming. I love the rain. And thunderstorms. I even checked the weather for the days we're traveling to and from Texas hoping that it would be too bad to fly. But it's going to be sunny here and there. Damn. Oh well.
My sister just walked in and asked me: "What the hell are you doing up so early?!" ... And she's up! She's just as bad as me when it comes to what time we wake up lolz.
Well, thats all I really have to talk about. Maybe I'll post later on.
Good day!

Old shows
I honestly wasn't going to post again today but I got to thinking about all the old TV shows that I watched as a kid. And I'm not talking about cartoons (because I was beyond normal), I'm talking about adult old shows, like stuff from the 70./80s. Such as:
1.) Laverne and Shirley
2.) Happy Days
3.) Mary Tyler Moore
4.) Gilligan's Island
5.) Cheers
6.) Dike Van Dyke
7.) Bewitched
8.) Mr. Ed
9.) I Love Lucy
10.) I Dream of Jeanie
11.) Lassie
12.) The Addam's Family
13.) Munsters
14.) Brady Bunch
15.) Different Strokes
16.) Three's Company
17.) The Facts of Life
18.) Green Acres
19.) Mork and Mindy
20.) The Cosby Show
Ah. The good ol' days.
All of which are good shows. YouTube!
Haha.
Have a great weekend!

Ugh, bitch.
So, how's it goin'?
Yeah. I haven't been in the mood to post but something came up that I wanted to share.

Suck my big toe.
Ya know, because I don't have a religion and I dont believe in god, really doesn't say "hey, because I have no religion, why don't you change me religiously!" No, it doesnt. It pisses me off. And it bugs me when people do what this big shot did.
So, turns out I'm way more tired than I originally figured, so I'm posting this and I will post later after a good night's sleep.

Random ramblings.
I'm getting lazy with my posts. I've been lazy all weekend actually. I did absolutely nothing. Yay me!
Well, I applied for some jobs but I done did that online. Hehe.
OMG. I saw this dude with his arm up the ass of a polka dotted duck. It's a puppet. I'm pretty sure. My new buddy, Clyde, has a frog puppet. He makes me laugh. Clyde, not the frog.
But anyway.
Some of you may or may not remember I blogged about my pet peeves. Well, I have a few more to add to my list. I even took the time to go find my posted list to copy and paste here.
1.) Bow ties - They're gross.
2.) People asking to BORROW a tissue - Equally gross.
3.) People who interrupt - jerk.
4.) When people agree with you but then go on to say their opinion which is the opposite - If you're opinion is the opposite of mine, DONT agree with me on MY opinion.
5.) If someone doesn't believe in the same stuff you do, don't try to change them. We're all different for a reason - cuz if we were the same, wtf would we do all day?
^^Old stuff^^
vvNew stuffvv
6.) White dudes who act (or a sad attempt to) like black dudes - STOP DOING IT. You're white for a reason, buddy.
7.) White dudes with afros - Shave it off, dude with tons of curly afro hair.
8.) People who wear flip flops just to make the flopping noise - Stop that too. It's quite annoying on a linoleum floor.
9.) The Maintenance Guys - I hate you all. Especially you, lawn mower dude who loves to wake me up with the roar of your fucking lawn mower engine! Save it for the afternoon when I'm awake and IN CLASS. By the way, I love the rubber duck wearing a sombrero for your antennae. Very nice.
That's all I've thought of.
On another note.
I got a call today from my BPA advisor, Mrs. James, and she found out that we can have substitutes in team projects. My friends, Krystal and Rebecca, were on a team during our state competitions doing a website project. Well, since nationals got pushed back a month, Krystal can't go but Rebecca can. One problemo. You can't have teams less than 2 people (obviously). So, when Mrs. James called, she wanted to ask if I wouldn't mind doing another event. I said sure. So I went and talked to Krystal and here's the second problem: she used a program that only works on Mac computers. Major problem. I shall found out tomorrow what we're really going to do.
On a brighter note. I dont have any finals tomorrow and I have one at 8 am on friday and then I have the rest of friday by myself. Plus the weekend. I have a final on Monday (no big deal) and 2 on Tuesday (easy peasy).
Can't wait for summer to start!

What a trip.
So, it's been a while.
I'm supposed to be in Texas right now for our BPA national competitions. But I'm not. Why? You might ask. Swine flu. That's why.
Yep. Our national competitions got post-poned until June 17-20 because (and I guess now that I think about it, it's a smart idea) the leaders of BPA didnt want 4,000 kids (literally, nationals have about 4-5 thousand kids from across the nation) all in one area so close to Mexico. And I guess Texas has it pretty bad right now. But still. My theory was, "Well, what if it gets worse by June?" My advisor said they may cancel it completely. That right there pisses me off because we've all worked hard this semester to get where we're at. Everybody except Rory and I (who are both new this semester) had all of last semester to prepare for state which gets us to nationals. I had a month before state to prepare myself and I had no flippin' idea what I was doing. But whatever I did, I did it right since I made nationals.
I'll be in Texas when it's like 150 degrees down there and I'll be in pants. PANTS. Shorts are not allowed in the Professional Dress code. FML.
To kind of make it worse, June 18 was when my mom died last year so I'll be away from family who I'll want to spend my time with then. But, things come up I guess and I'll manage one way or another.
On a more funny subject.
Yesterday, I had the best trip of my life. Literally. I tripped. On my flip flop. I was sitting in my desk chair and my left leg was wrapped around one of the chair's legs. I went to stand up, tripped on my right flip flop, fell forward a little bit (the chair came with me of course). The chair was on it's back 2 legs with the front edge of the seat in the air and I fell smack dab on the edge. And this is a wooden chair. It hurt. But wait, I'm not done. I tried to stand back up again because I was still on the edge of the chair and I tripped again. This time with my left flip flop. I think it got caught in one of the desk drawers. But anyway, I went forward and finally landed on the bed post. It happened to fast and so... AWESOMELY that if there was a video camera person near by, we would have totally won AFV's grand prize. Totally.
So I'm left with a bruised butt and the back of my leg is bruised so it's hard to sit but it's feeling better today.
That's all I really have to talk about right now and it's still early in the day. We'll see what else pops up.
Later!

Religion.
I has none.
I wanted to blog about my views when it comes to religion. I am disabling comments because I know some people will argue with me and get all pissed off some more. And if you're a die-hard christian, leave now.
I've had a pretty wow day. I've debated with someone about whether or not god should stay in schools. I think he should not because not everybody has the same religious views.
Since this is my blog, I'm gonna share my views because my views really need to be out there. I'm always worried about what someone would say BUT I could care less anymore. My dad doesnt give a damn because I'm an adult and I can make my own choices. I haven't told him but the hundreds of times I've turned him down on the offer to go to church should say something. I did go once, Christmas Eve, I actually hated it. I felt so out of place and I almost felt like every christian can detect an Atheist and that all eyes were on me. But I know they werent. We saw pictures of space and how one nebula looked like a cross. NO IT DIDNT. It looked like an "X".
So, yeah. Needless to say, I wont ever go back.
I used the term Atheist up there. I dont necessarily think I'm 100% Atheist but I dont think that I'm 100% Agnostic either. I know that there's no higher being but if you can prove it, then I might. And dont be like this lady, asking me where the trees came from.

I swear, Matt (the one in the joker hat) sounds like he could be a preacher. Or pastor. Whatever. I love the conversation about bananas. I know the video takes a while to load but so worth it. And it's non-offensive for a believer or non-believer to watch. I promise.
I also believe in Charles Darwin's theory of Evolution. I believe that all animals have evolved from each other and that we all started as a cell when a chemical reaction happened way back when.
So, down the the real question.
If, and this is a big IF, there is a god, then who or what made him?
The answer is simple.
God is like every one of us. Just a simple, ordinary person. To you christians out there, you'll say that god made everything, right? Well, if we look at this my way, people made god. Taking this mathematically:
If people made god
And god made everything
Then people made everything.
Kind of like this:
If a=b
And b=c
Then a=c
People made the pyramids of Egypt, the Great Wall of China, the Berlin Wall, the Sphinx, all these MAN-MADE structures. God didnt do shit. I even think the Grand Canyon is considered man-made. I'm not positive.
If you're still reading, cool. I'm almost done. I have one more video by the same people in the other video except with a different caller. This video uses my newest form of defense if someone asks me why I dont believe in god.

If you didnt catch it. It's the unicorn question. But I love how that works.
A couple other things I have to say.
When it comes to the Pledge of Allegiance, and if this is ever put up for a vote, I would vote for the words "one nation under god" to be taken out. It's assumed that everyone believes in god and believes in the same things in this nation when there are many different religions across our 50 states. Some have different gods, some dont have gods like me. I find it offensive to naturally think everyone thinks the same way.
Another thing. I'm getting tired of all these text message chain letters telling me to pray for the dead. 1) I dont pray and 2) why bother for the dead? Isnt it a little late? I understand that we now have the swine flu epidemic that's already killed a child but that's part of life. We're born and then we die.
Before I end this, and if you're still reading and have the same general views I do, I advise you to check out this site: www.officialgodfaq.com

Busted.
So, as our almost usual Tuesday night routine, a couple friends and I had a drinking party. There was only four of us drinking. We were playing a drinking game called Waterfall. It was quite fun. Was? Yes. It's not even midnight? I know. WE GOT BUSTED. While you play waterfall, you have a straight shot of alcohol in the middle of the table. Whoever loses the game takes a shot. During our third game, we had the shot out in the middle of the table, and Security walks in. Well, we were all like fuck. Apparently the dorm door was open a tad bit and we were being a little loud. Brad, who is a student coordinator/RA, called us in to security just for being loud. Well, us being stupid, had the door open and Security walks up, sees the shot glass, pulls out his pad of tickets and that was pretty much that. He poured out the shot and what we had in our cups for the game. And then, he looked through the freezer and our stupid asses left over half a bottle of Vodka in the freezer. Well, you know what happens. Security finds it, dumps it down the drain. Then writes us all fines. Julia and I were on our first fine which is $75 plus we have to take an alcohol test. Heather and Marianne, and Jody who made the mistake of coming out to the living room, are on their second which is a $100 fine plus an 8 hour class on alcohol and drug abuse. Well, Jody, who had just walked out as Security walked in, is determined not to pay her fine. She says the four of us have to pay it.
Sorry, Jody, but I think you should pay it. Marianne had to pay for her first and she didn't drink. Fair is fuckin fair. I'd be more than happy to pay for the vodka and gas you wasted since we lost half the bottle but I ain't paying part of your fine. You didnt have to go get it, you didnt have to walk out into the living room. I plan to tell my dad the truth and I betcha he'll say the same thing because I'm broke and I'm gonna have to ask him for the money.
That's harsh but hey, so is life.
Yeah I'm a little ticked so this post is short.
Good fucking night.

Randoms.
After going to bed around 2:30 am this morning and not getting up until 8am, I'm feeling pretty good. Wide awake, no big deal. I had me some breakfast at the Caf which consisted of some eggs and biscuits and gravy and 3 tater tots because the jerk ahead of me took the other 20 that were left. Oh well, I'm in a good mood so he can't ruin it.
Why am I posting so early? Because right now I'm sitting in class and I usually don't pay attention and I have an A in this class so I started bringing my computer to stumble so I have something to keep me occupied.
I was messing with my imagination prompt generator and one of the things was "Why later?"
-Which is a good question. I always say "later" a lot, as in "I'll do it later". I started thinking, "Why not now?" It's just a good as time as any. Saying you'll do it later puts it off which brings about procrastination and then nothing gets done because the longer you put it off, the harder it is to do it. With it being the end of the school year and homework is starting to pile up, I'm going to try and not say that I'll do it later so much. For example, since January, in the class I'm sitting in now (Intro to Business) we've had an assignment to write 5 papers by May 6th. I said I would do it later because I have so much time to do them. Well, now it's 3 months later and I have less than 2 weeks to do them. Don't say later if you have the opportunity to do it right then.
I started going through my prompts again and the next one decent I found was "If you have roommates, what did you learn living with them?"
-Being 2 hours away from home 5 days a week, I live on campus with 2 other girls: Nancy and Kayla. They're alright most of the time. They can be really loud when they're drunk at 3 in the morning. At the beginning of the semester, we got along great. Now, we're kind of hating on each other. Nancy's the one that has sex with her boyfriend all the time. And Kayla just blames me for shit that aint mine. Like last night, she told me to clean out the drain in the bathtub. 1) I don't shed. 2) It was clearly to long to be mine.
-But I've learned that living with 2 other girls - and these dorms can hold up to 4 people - is a nightmare. There's that 'time of the month' issue, we go through toilet paper like it's going out of style, if someone is in the bathroom taking a shower/getting ready in the morning then it'll be about an hour or so before you can get in there just to go pee. Although we're clean and tidy (without looking in our rooms) we still argue over who's mess is who's or who cleans what for room check. Honestly, I think life would be easier being a guy because they dont have that 'time of the month' issue, if there's a mess - most likely it's whoever's deal, life is pretty much about fun/adventures/video games. In Sociology, my teacher has things to prove guys have it easier. I dont remember what but, if you're a guy, you'll know.
One more prompt that I found during my thoughts about the last prompt is "Find a quote that moves you and write it down. Why does it move you?"
-Lately, I've been stumbling just to find some inspirational quotes to write down and collect. I dont have a whole lot yet because they're hard to find sometimes but I have a few that I'm moved by. One in particular:
~*~Your vision will become clear when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.~*~ By - Carl Jung
I like this quote simply because it's true. Looking inside your heart makes you see what you're made of and what you're capable to do. Not doing that causes you to dream, somewhat, of yourself. Listening to and looking in your heart will be important when you become an adult because as a young adult, your future is around the corner. Soon, if not now, you have to make decisions and choices for yourself. In order to make the right decisions and the right choices, you have to listen to your heart. It always talks. It's like in cartoons and movies when someone is faced with a tough decision or a situation, there's always the Good Angel and the Evil Angel. Your heart is the Good Angel and sometimes, your brain is the Evil one. If you feel something is right - do it. If you think about it, soon you'll give yourself a Pro/Con list and then end up doing what is wrong because you talked yourself out of doing something right. Happens to me all the time so this is a true story.
I got out of class early today. By 10 minutes but thats awesome when it comes to this teacher. So now I'm sitting in the library waiting for lunch because I still have one more class at 12. After that I can go home! It's suppose to rain today tho so hopefully I can beat the storm because driving on the highway in the rain is like .. no.
I'm running out of things to talk about and my prompt generator says its tired again. I'll probably post later, more than likely since today's not over and I dont know what I'm gonna do tonight if anything. Yep.
So, have a good day!

Good times.
So. I'm still awake. Why? Because I had a 4 hour nap today. Why? Well, I had a really short night. Why? Because I got trashed.
That's right. My (usual) weekly drinking party was Wednesday night. My friends Jody and Marianne (and me of course) traveled to Missouri to get some alcohol. We had to bring Jody's friend, Donte, to actually buy it because like any of us are old enough yet. So we got a big bottle of Vodka, 2 bottles of Mountain Dew (because Vodka straight is like drinking finger nail polish remover) and 2 bottles of Sunkist (a fizzy screwdriver - which is orange juice and vodka). Our ORIGINAL plan was to drink half the bottle of vodka wednesday night and drink the other half tonight (Thursday night since technically right now it's Friday). Well, that didnt really happen. I was over at Jody and Marianne's dorm with their roommates Heather and Jessica. Jessica stayed in her room while we drank tho (thank god or else something would've went down last night). Heather and Jessica have this extreme hate relationship. Get them drunk and someone's gonna start throwing punches. But nothing did so that's a plus. Anyway, their neighbor, Julia, came over (like always) and we started playing beer pong, technically vodka/mountain dew pong. Julia gets bored real fast. Suddenly, she was like, "Who wants to do shots with me?" No one would because we're not that stupid. BUT Marianne and I gave in and then three of us had like 4 or 5 shots. And this is straight vodka shots. It doesn't take that much vodka to fuck you up good. So the three of us were all loopy and shit. Apparently I started dancing and Julia ... well I'm not sure where she was. Marianne started talking to herself. After our nice vodka shots, we were down to like a fourth of the bottle of vodka left when the guys came over. Sooo, Julia, me, Jody, and the guys (Courtney - yes he's a dude - and Jeremy) started taking shots with what was left. I think each of us had about 5 or 6 more. Overall I had about 10 or 11 straight vodka shots. If you know 4 is enough to do you in for the night, try 10. I think it turned out to be a great night. Especially when us girls turned out to be tougher than the guys when taking shots. Them pansies had to have something to drink right afterwards - which makes the vodka go down easier - but if you're gonna do it, be tough about it! So once the vodka was gone, which only took us like 5 hours to finish (which is good timing for 7 people) we didn't wanna call it a night. SO we pulled some strings and a couple more guys came over with a 30-pack of Keystone Light - beer - and we played some REAL beer pong. By the way, if you start drinking beer, NEVER drink Keystone Light. That is just disgusting. It's like drinking fizzy piss. It's so nasty. Learn from me - dont drink it. It may be the cheapest stuff but trust me, it's worth it to put forth a few extra bucks and get the good stuff. But I guess when you're drunk, you don't really care as long as there's alcohol in your hand.
Needless to say, I woke up this morning extremely hungover.
We didn't drink again tonight because we were all still feeling it around the time we usual start so we settled for a drinking night next week. But man, I was sitting in my sociology class this morning and, even after I took a shower, I still smelled like beer and vodka. I was so sick that just thinking about how nasty both of them were that I almost up-chucked in the class room. But I held my stomach. I managed to make it through my classes - only had 2 but their were spread apart which didn't help. And, to piss me off more, Jessica - whom we all hate now - didn't even go to class this morning. Out of the 7 of us drinking, the only sober one - Jessica, didnt have a drop of anything to drink - DIDNT GO TO CLASS. Every single one of us drinkers toughed it out. So now we're all pissed off at her which nobody blames us for. I heard from Jody (who's Jessica's roommate) that Jessica's first class was at 9.30am and she woke up at 9.15am claiming that she didnt have enough time to get to class. It's a fucking 5 minute walk or a 5 second drive so she had time to get up, throw clothes on and go. What made it worse, she had 3 classes today and skipped them all "because she was too tired."
Well, Jessica, if you're reading this, I have two words for you - FUCK. YOU. And by the way, none of us did anything to you last night so you have no reason to call us irritating. You could've easily left the dorm and hung out with your stupid boyfriend, who, by the way, is in fact a jerk. I'm going to agree with your sister's husband. From what I hear, you'll be screwed in the long run.
Phew. Now I feel better.
I'm getting sort of sleepy and I have a new idea. Instead of a song of the day, I'm changing it to video of the day. Could be a song or a random video. This time it's a random video.
Ha. Love it.
Have a good day/night/weekend/insert ending word here!
Prompts + YIM = pissed?
In order to make Chase happy, I have to post everyday.
Now, how can I possible come up with better stuff to talk about every single day other than what's been going on? Because in Highland, it's the same thing every day.
So, I have this Imagination Prompt Generator to tell me what to post about and this is my first time using it. If you bloggers out there wanna use it sometime, I stuck the link to it at the end of the post.
My first prompt was: What does life mean to you?
Well, when it comes to life, to me, it means that everyone should find their destiny and live it. That's kind of a high standard but thats what it means to me. Everyone has a dream, or a calling, something they're good at, and if you enjoy what you're good at, that's what you should do. Life doesn't mean find some dead end job, hate going to work, hate where you're at in the social ladder (I learned about that in sociology today). Everyone has a talent. So find that talent and live it as long as you enjoy it.
Prompt #2: Are you afraid of death?
Yes. I'm not a religious person, I don't believe in a greater being so where do people like me go after death? I don't want to stare into blackness. I'm afriad to sleep dreamlessly because I hate that darkness feeling behind your eyelids. It just freaks me out.
Prompt #3: Why do you do what you do?
This could be taken different ways. I'm going with it as kind of like hobby wise, why I do the hobbies that I do. First off, I love writing. It's my passion more so than a hobby. I do want to be a famous writer some day. I want to be the next Stephen King just because my mind is that grotesque at some points. People actually tell me that I will be the next Stephen King or Edgar Allen Poe. I hope one day it comes true.
That's enough prompts for now because the generator keeps telling me that the prompt is tired. So I'll let it rest over night.
During my blog writing, I was also in the midst of talking to someone else on instant messenger. We got into one of our usual fights and she's pissed me off so now I'm in a shitty mood.
I'm not posting a song or anything because now I dont feel like it. YouTube your own song.
Good night.

Weird.
Last night I had a weird dream ...
I was at the mall and I was walking by Game Stop when I saw that, apparently, the new DSi is out. So I walked in and bought it with the money I didn't have. I opened it, and the box is suppose to like .. make an applause and cheering kind of noise, but this box did not. So I was upset but I still pulled it out to play. I hated it. So I tried to take it back to the store, right? Yeah. I tried to return it because I hated it and I told the owner (which, in my dream, was Mike Myers, aka Austin Powers) and he was like "Why are you returning it?" and I says "Well, I wasn't going to. I was going to give it to my aunt to give her son for his birthday." and he says "You know that if you do that, my company loses that money." which I don't understand that part.. so I says "I know, that's why I came back. To return it to get my money back and my aunt can come buy it herself." so he says "Alright. I'll return it, no questions asked." So I returned the thing. But weirdly, I returned it at Wal-Mart ... not Game Stop. Anyway. Then suddenly, my dream cuts to a war type thing. The manager dude I was talking to and his security guards were suddenly in a war with the manager of Game Stop and his security guards. WEIRD. All over the DSi cuz Game Stop wanted it back of course but Wal-Mart guy said no. And then somehow, I ended up in the hospital with my mom (the one who passed away, not my new/technically my mom mom) and I was complaining about how much I hated the DSi. Then, AGAIN, suddenly the scene changes and my mom plus my new mom plus Brian were all in the living room of my dorm. Brian was complaining that he wanted his phone which he left with me to charge overnight (that's actually a true story, about his phone) so I gave it to him and he left.
Then I woke up.
And wondered what all this shit meant.
So, I googled.
DEAD
To see the dead in your dream, forewarns that you are being influenced by negative people and are hanging around the wrong crowd. You may suffer material loss. This dream may also be a way for you to resolve your feelings with those who have passed on. If you dream of a person who has died a long time ago, then it suggests that a current situation or relationship in you life resembles the quality of that deceased person. The dream may depict how you need to let this situation or relationship die and end it.
To see and talk with your dead parents in your dreams, represents your fears of losing them or your way of coping with the loss. You may want that last opportunity to say your final good-byes to them.
How sad...
WAR
To dream of a war, signifies disorder and chaos in your waking life You are experiencing some internal conflict or emotional struggle which is tearing you up inside. Alternatively, the dream also indicates that you are being overly aggressive or that you are not being assertive enough. Perhaps you need to be prepared to put up a fight in some area of your life. On a more direct level, the dream may be reflection of current wars around the world.
That's actually quite true.
VIDEO GAMES
To dream that you are playing a video game, represents your ability to manipulate others into doing what you want them to do. Alternatively, it suggests that you are trying to escape and not confront the stress and problems in your real life.
Hm.
ACTOR/ACTRESS
To see an actor or actress in your dream, represents your pursuit for pleasure. Your admiration of a particular celebrity may lead to a desire to have some of their physical or personality traits. Consider also who this actor/actress is and what characteristics you associate with him or her. These may be the same characteristics that you need to acknowledge or incorporate into yourself.
I'm not really sure about that one ^^^ but I used it anyway cuz Mike Myers is an actor.. I don't see myself as anything like Mike Myers.. If someone else does, let me know how ..
But yeah. Weird dream.
On another note, I started a new class today: Microsoft Outlook. Yep. We didn't do a whole lot because not all of us remembered to get the book from the book store yet. Which I need to go do sometime before Wednesday.
Not a whole lot more to talk about. I still have my cold which I think is turning into an ear infection because today, I'm right-side deaf. And my ear hurts like a lot. I'm about ready to call my dad and ask. We'll see how it is tomorrow.
Anyway.
Inspired by my dream, here's my song of the day and part of my belief system.
I thought the beginning was kinda funny. But true song. Very true.
I might be back to post later, we'll see. I'm not sure... but quite possibly.
Have a great day!

Easter Break
So I've had a pretty awesome Easter break/week.
Backing up to Thursday.
By Thursday, I started getting a very sore throat and my voice was starting to slowly fade into the unknown world of where ever lost voices go. But I was still alright. After lunch I met Chase at the mall for like ... less than an hour? Something like that. I had a milkshake. Because it soothed my sore throat. Then he had to go to class... so I followed him to campus and waited patiently in the student union. I read the newspaper. Then he got out of class like .. within ten minutes of even being there and then I followed him to somewhere to declare a minor in something. Yup. Then we decided to go somewhere so I drove us, considering my car was a LOT closer, to Target where I bought a white chocolate bunny. It was delicious. Then we pretty much called it a day. OH we went to hastings too. THEN we called it a day.
FRIDAY I met up with Chase and the Bamboo Buffet (awesome chinese restaurant) for lunch after his only class. Then... we went to Best Buy for a minute and he got a nice fancy camera. Then we went to his house where we ate cookies, played with his dogs and watched "Yes Man" and "Role Models". Then we called it a day. Oh, by Friday, my sore throat was getting worse and my voice was even more gone. Sucks.
Cuz Saturday I had to work. With a very sore throat and no voice. You don't even know how many times people had to say "What'd you say?" It's majorly frustrating. So I took some Benedryl when I got home and passed out around 9 ish..
And today, being Easter, Happy Easter by the way, my dad and his wife and I went to Wichita to visit my (great) aunt and my uncle. We had a nice dinner which we left down there. Pssh. Maybe I WANTED SOME. But it's ok cuz I didnt. Today I woke up sick. Like. With a cold. Still have a sore throat and no voice but now I have a runny nose and a headache. FML. That's a fun site by the way. www.fmylife.com AND www.lmylife.com Check it out. Do it.
This post is too short.
Which is why I'm going to talk about something Chase and I started talking about one day.
What if ...
TEENAGERS ruled the world?
Not kids. Teenagers.
Chase thinks that the entire world should shut down, like cut off electricity, for an hour a day. That's actually not bad because we could save money doing that. He also declares mandatory naps everyday no matter where you are.
I think, if teenagers ruled the world, there would be virtual rock bands, virtual sport games/tournaments/whatever, and homework would be asexual so it would do itself leaving us teenagers more time to manage the world.
For the record. I declare myself Queen of the United Kingdom. THAT'S MINE.
I have a slight fetish for anything British. That's gonna be my next t-shirt by the way.
If you've never seen the Reba show, you sincerely should.
This is Reba singing her song "I'm A Survivor" with Kelly Clarkson and Melissa Peterman who plays Barbra Jean on the Reba show. I love that video. I love Barbra Jean hehe.
But anyway. That's my song of the day, by the way. I'm A Survivor by Reba McEntire. I like this better than the real video. If you want the real video, its called YouTube.
Have a great week!

Erm.
Ok, so. Not a whole lot is going on. I dont know why I'm posting. Maybe it's because Chase wants me to post more about my personal life than about funny quotes. Nothing really is that fascinating to put into a post and I told him that but he said do more stuff. More specifically, MAKE stuff to do.
It's a great day outside. About damn time, Kansas. Honestly. It snowed a few days ago. SNOW. IN FUCKING APRIL. Pardon my language but SNOW IN APRIL?!?!?! WTF. But anyway, yeah. It's a beautiful day. Approximately 65 degrees, few clouds, sun's wide awake. It's awesome. So I'm sitting outside enjoying it. Sun's a little bright shining off my computer but yay for transitional glasses.
Starting today, my school is on an easter break. We only get thursday, friday and the weekend off but thats 2 more days off than most of my friends. Like Chase. But he's right. I'll be bored. My boss can't put me on the schedule so I'm planning on just doing my homework. I have five papers due before my trip to Dallas May 6.
Speaking of that. Ya'll remember when I went to state for a business competition right? And I made it to nationals? Yep. May 6 is when we're leaving. We have to leave Highland by 5 am in order to make it to Kansas City (KC) to catch our flight. It's gonna be my first plane ride. I'm pretty excited actually but a little nervous at the same time. But we'll see how it goes. Luckily I'm not the only one who's never been on a plane before. As long as I'm not stuck in the middle seat, I'll be alright. I heard that's the worst place to sit... I'm hoping for a window seat so I can take awesome pictures of the clouds and stuff... We'll see how it goes.
As I sit here in the sun, I keep thinking that I'm getting sunburnt cuz it's kinda hot.
Anyway.
I'm not sure what else to say.
OH.
My friends Jody, Heather, and Marianne and I went to walmart last night to get some stuff to make tacos for Taco Tuesday. No big deal right? Wrong. As soon as we walked in the door, the door greeter was like "I bet you lovely ladies would like a sticker." Hell yeah. Jody's face was so priceless. Both her and Heather were like "Yeah! We want a sticker!" Marianne and I just kinda laughed. Jody's almost 21 years old, Heather's 18, and Marianne and I are 19 and we all got one of those yellow smiley faces. Yep. I put mine on the back of my phone so I can support walmart smiley faces all over the world.
So we had tacos and cookies and Megan (different Megan of course) brought us pinneapple cupcakes. Yum. Then we played Dirty Minds. Heather won... jerk. Winning just proves your mind is not dirty enough. HAHA. But it was great.
Ok. NOW I dont know what to talk about. So, without further adieu...
My friends love this song and so do I. I love Journey.
Have a great week!

Damn.
So I got word that I blogged while drunk off my ass. I even had to look and I was slightly amazed at myself for pulling an all time low. Drunk blogging. Stick that in the books of stupid things drunks do. So yeah. With that, not much to blog about, considering I said it all last night.
A couple fun texts I found in my phone.. again, while drunk...
Im playin pac man on the ceiling.
Fuck is hot. Like wild animal sex.
Drinkin while on the second floor of some other building than your own is a no no unless you plan on stayin.
And, from texting these people I texted last night, I found out that I say fuck a lot when I'm trashed.
Good times tho, good times.
So, continuing with the night.
I don't even remember coming back to my dorm last night but I sure woke up this morning, under the covers still in my jeans. At least I managed to take my shoes off. But, I do remember that I was laying in my bed, or what I thought was the floor, my room door was open still and my roommates walked in, took one look at my wasted ass and laughed.
Haha.
That's all I remember. No song right now cuz I have a headache like major and don't feel like lookin for one.

Rambling.
So. I'm not really sure what exactly I want to blog about. But I have a feeling that I need to blog right this second.
Currently, I'm working on a 1000 piece puzzle of the Beatles that Chase got me for my birthday. I'm glad it's not a picture of the White Album. I would have to shoot myself in such a case. The picture I do have is at least 1/4 of pure white pieces. That, however, is driving me nuts. Not near an extreme that I would shoot myself, but it is slightly annoying. With puzzles, I have this thing with doing the outside first. Like, I can't just skip it if I'm missing a piece. I have to find that piece to finish the outside before I move on. SO. As I was doing the outside, I was missing a piece. Trying to find that one fucking piece in the midst of at least 900 other pieces is fucking aggitatin. Pardon my language. But it is. So, this time, I decided to give up on looking for it and I'll run across it. After looking for that one piece for a half hour, it managed to be the first piece I pick up when I started working on the inside. UGH. I was completely annoyed but victory was so sweet. So I got the outside finished that way I know how big it is and if need be, move to a bigger table. It barely fits on my desk so that's where it's staying. Now to work on the white pieces.. sigh.
On a good note, I think my friends are getting some alcohol tonight and if they do, they said I could come and they like to get so much alcohol that they get completely trashed. Should be a fun night. I hope. They better get some cuz I aint sitting here bored out of my skull. If I'm gonna be bored in a hicktown, I might as well be wasted to make it more interesting.
I'm thinking about making some popcorn and watching some tv while I have the dorm to myself. One of my roommates has a softball game tonight so she wont be around all night. The other just left with her boyfriend to go have sex I betcha. Or I might even unpack my clothes that I brought home from the weekend. I probably wont but yeah. I should. If I feel like it. I probably wont.
I think I'm done rambling for now. I have a feeling I'll come back later for a second post. But in case I dont, here's my song of the day. I strongly advise you, if you're against homosexuality or prefer to not watch a couple of girls make out, to NOT watch this. Listen to it tho, pull up another browser window or something to cover it. It's a great song, they just added some stuff.

So
Here's the earth.. rooouuund.
Yeah. I didnt know how else to start...
But anyway. I'm patiently waiting until 12.30pm cst so I can help my club sort our fundraiser items so we can pick them up. Until then, I don't know what I'll do. But I'm posting so obviously I found something to do. Its currently 10.19am cst. Ugh.
So.
While using StumbleUpon (www.stumbleupon.com) and with my preferences on religion (atheist) I came across this:
The Ten Commandments of an Ethical Atheist
1. Thou SHALT NOT believe all thou art told.
2. Thou SHALT seek knowledge and truth constantly.
3. Thou SHALT educate thy fellow man in the Laws of Science.
4. Thou SHALT NOT forget the atrocities committed in the name of god.
5. Thou SHALT leave valuable contributions for future generations.
6. Thou SHALT live in peace with thy fellow man.
7. Thou SHALT live this one life thou hast to its fullest.
8. Thou SHALT follow a Personal Code of Ethics.
9. Thou SHALT maintain a strict separation between Church and State.
10. Thou SHALT support those who follow these commandments.
http://www.ethicalatheist.com/docs/ten_commandments.html#table
Theres the link which goes into detail about each one. Don't read it if you believe in god and all that stuff.
Also, using the same site, same subject, I found this:

Hehe.
Ok. Enough with that before someone decides to shoot me.
While I was eating breakfast this morning, I started think, "What are my pet peeves?" Well, here's my answer:
1.) Bow ties - They're gross.
2.) People asking to BORROW a tissue - Equally gross.
3.) People who interupt - jerk.
That's all I thought of for now.
That's actually all I wanna talk about in this post. Maybe I'll post again later.
Meanwhile, enjoy my song of the day (which is practically every girl's theme song in Highland):
Hehe.

The End
Of spring break that is.
Although.. that was Sunday.. but Sunday I was busy doing laundry and packing, then there was the 2 hour drive up here, then the unpacking part. I spent time with my friend Jody in Hiawatha before we came back. We had some delicious McDonald's and got some groceries at Walmart. When we got back, she was like "you should come over" and like.. I hadn't even started unpacking. So I went over for a minute, which turned into 2 hours. So it was around 10 when I came back to my dorm and I unpacked cuz everything was on my bed and I still need to actually make my bed. I got everything unpacked by 11 pm :D woot.
I did manage to lose my headphones in the moving process though. Kinda pissed cuz they were the good kind. Gr.
So yeah. Monday was a nice day. It got up to like .. ionno, somewhere in the 70s. I didnt do a whole lot monday either. Did some walkin around town but that's about it.
Tuesday was an equally good day. Kinda chilly tho. But I had classes til 3pm, then I took a well needed nap til about 5:18pm exactly. Well.. probably more so 5:17:59 but whatever. Then I went up for supper in the caf, then came back and slept some more. lol. Yep. I work my ass off so much up here...
Today. It's rather cold. And my roommates like the cold but only in our apartment. I swear. When I wake up most mornings its colder in my apartment than it is outside. WTF.
Oh well.
I think in a couple hours or so, my friends Jody and Jess are gonna go to St. Jo for the evening just to piddle around. Like we have anything better to do. I think this is becoming a weekly thing - quoted from Jess. Which is probably true. We've been to St. Jo for the past 3 weeks ish, except for spring break of course.
My hair is slightly fun - on a random note. When I get it cut, I like to wait a few weeks afterwards when it's slightly longer and it sticks up better. Idk, there's something about the "just got out of bed" look that attracts me to it. So my hair is a mess today but its a good looking mess. That could probably be an oxymoron - good-looking mess. Hm.
I'm running out of things to ramble about SO I'm gonna give the -
OH WAIT
One more thing.
www.pandora.com Awesome music site, if you havent been there. Lately I've been addicted to it, dont ask me why cuz I have no idea.
Ok, so back to what I was saying.

One of my new favorite bands - Cascada. This IS the official music video. It's quite funny. I enjoyed it. And Natalie (lead singer) is pretty hot. Not gonna lie.
Alright, that's all for this post.
I think.
Have a great week/weekend!

Spring Break part 1
Wow, been quite a while since I posted.
Again, nothing new has happened. Um, gotta think back a week now...
I never did have room checks that Monday night, turned out to be Wednesday which kinda pissed me off cuz I could've spent that time cleaning to do something else. But, on the other hand, it was a good thing cuz Jody and Jessica (friends from school) spontaneously decided to go to St. Jo, Missouri (half hour drive from Highland) Wednesday afternoon. Jody had to shop for baby clothes for her soon to be niece or nephew (kinda hard to shop for unisex stuff). So yeah, had room checks when we got back from St. Jo. Then I went over to Jody and Jessica's dorm for a biscuit and gravy dinner (delish) and then, to our surprise, we actually studied! GASP. It was funny though cuz what we studied for wasn't on our test but our teacher specifically said what was on the study guide was what the test was over. No surprises, she said. That goes to show that you can't trust an 80 year old teacher who can't remember assignment due dates. Pssh. But still, I think we did okay for the most part.
Thursday was awesome. My first class of the day, Sociology, was let out an hour and 50 minutes early. So I had that much time before the Caff opened for lunch. After lunch, I had my Philosophy test, got done with that also an hour and 50 minutes early. So I took a nap since I had that much time before my last class. I woke up about a half hour before class started so I decided to walk over there and my teacher said I could go in early. I worked on our project for the day and left an hour early from that. Then...I went to Jody's to help them clean their apartment for their room checks. Then we went to Brian's dorm where we watched The Dark Knight and ate some macaroni and cheese (which is now a joke amongst my group of friends). I'm suppose to ask for macaroni and cheese when I go to a movie theater now. Ha. Like I'll ever do that.
Friday, my teacher wasn't as cool; we had to stay the whole class period. But I like him and that class so it wasn't that bad. But as soon as that class was over I was out of that town and came home to start my spring break.
Saturday had to work. Then I went to the movies with Blair and Brian. We watched "Race to Witch Mountain". It was a fairly decent movie. I'll probably never buy it but it's worth watching once. Just dont spend the 8 bux or whatever it is at the theater - definately rent it - cheaper.
Sunday... oh, my dad and his gf and I went to Topeka to go clothes shopping. Had lunch at Red Lobster - yummmmmmm.
Monday - met up with Chase at the mall, and Kris for like a few minutes. When he left, Chase and I decided to grab lunch at AJ's Pizzeria (New York style pizza - yummmm). We met up with Sarah there, and Misti. Then... we wondered around Poyntz Ave. Then decided to meet at City Park, travel to Walmart to purchase frisbees, cookies, lemonade, and chips for a fun day at the park, went to Chase's house so he could grab a camera and change shirts, took the top of his jeep off - beautiful day - then proceeded to my house so I could change shoes, change shirts (lol) helped dad carry in groceries. THEN we proceeded to City Park to kill each other with the frisbees (just kidding.)
This is currently my favorite picture from our trip to everywhere in town:

Lukus is the one on the left, Sarah on the right, and me down in front. Charlie's Angels - college boredum style.
Overall it's been an awesome spring break. Today, I had to work, but afterwards, my boss and some other people I work with went out for dinner for some Korean food - yum. I was forced to try a traditional Korean dessert - fish ice cream. At first I actually thought it had fish in it but it doesn't. The way it's prepared looks like a fish. It's hard to explain what it is, just google it...
Tomorrow, if plans are still set, some friends and I are going out of town to Salina to the Rolling Hills Zoo - can't wait! Nothing like a bunch of college kids get excited about going to the zoo. Hehe.
I'm slowly running out of things to say so I'll stop there.
Except for one more piece of business:
The SONG OF THE DAY.
I love this song. t.A.T.u. is an awesome group.
Also, check out Dethklok (American version of the Gorillaz, only hardcore), Genitorturers, and Cascada. I've been into these bands, along with t.A.T.u., recently, thanks to the manager of the shop next door to us.
Alright, with that, I bid you all farwell.
Until next time.

3.9.09
Hm. I haven't posted in a while.
Not much has happened - nothing new.
I have room checks tonight, so I'm cleaning up my room periodically throughout the day.
Oh, I had my birthday party Feb. 28th. It was lots of fun. My dad's gf was there (of course, I guess she lives there now), Blair and Brian came along with Blair's fiance Mark and a few of my friends came - Chase, Hazel, and Lukus. My dad bbq'd some hamburgers and hot dogs and Donna made some cheesey potatos - yummmm. And of course, there was cake - marble cake - my favorite - and some ice cream with brownie bits in it. Yummmmmm. It was delish.
My dad got me some clothes (or will get me some clothes), Donna got me some perfume and a room freshener for my dorm room, Blair got me some more perfume and lotion and body wash - smells good, Chase got me a Beatles puzzle (which I plan on starting today now that I have a clean desk) and Hazel, spontaneously, bought a game called Dirty Minds. Originally I was gonna pay her back BUT she said I didnt have to. Fine by me I guess.
We played Dirty Minds at my party too. What a load of fun that is. If you've never heard of Dirty Minds - it's awesome-tastic. It's a game of dirty clues but the answer to the clues is not dirty. It's normal every day stuff. Like - doors - one of the clues (in the book) is "We have big knockers." Yeah, sounds dirty but it's not. It's just to prove how perverted your mind is. LOL. Check it out tho. Seriously.
So, yeah, other than that, not much else happened.
Tonight, one of my friends is coming over to watch Dancing with the Stars at 7. Currently it's 2:21pm where I'm at so I still got a good 4.5 hours left.
I have a test coming up I should study for but everyone knows I wont but I'll prove them wrong and study ! Erm.. maybe I'll do that wednesday - test is thursday. That way it's fresh, ya know !
Hehe.
So, moving on to my song(s) of the day. Oh, by the way, I'm gonna change it to song of the week since I can't get used to posting every day.
But let's talk about music for a second.
A couple bands my friend Chase recently discovered - they're pretty awesome, or as he says "epictastic". We discovered Hedley - from the time we had a double feature friday movie thing - 3OH!3, not sure how he found them, and then Hollywood Undead which is a band similar to 3OH!3. If you haven't heard of them (either of the three) and have a liking for ... well I guess .. Hollywood Undead is a mix of rap and metal kinda, 3OH!3 is like them, and Hedley is a softer rock kind. Idk how to describe them but definately check them out. I'll post my favorite song from each band to give you a taste before you waste your time googling or wiki-ing.
HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD - DEAD IN DITCHES
They're kind of offensive - fair warning.
DON'T TRUST ME - 3OH!3
I like this song plus "Dance With Me" is a good one but I couldn't find a decent video for that one.
HAND GRENADE - HEDLEY
I realize that these are not official videos BUT I couldn't find them half the time.
Sorry!
I don't have much more to talk about SO I'm out of here to clean my room.
Later gators.

What an awesome week!
So, apparently I haven't posted since Friday the 13th. I'll back up til Valentine's day then.
On Valentine's day, I had to work. Sucks but like I have a valentine to spend time with anyway. Instead, we had a party at my house. My dad's fiancee gave me a singing bear that sings "I'm too sexy for my shirt" HAHA love it. And she gave me some candies. Yum. So at work, it was boring. I studied for a test I had Monday. I'll get to the results of that. Other than studying, I had to work on a powerpoint I had to do for a state competition, i'll get to that too.
Sunday, we didnt do anything. My dad and his fiancee went to church, then we all went out for a birthday dinner for me. My birthday was thursday, by the way! Yep. I'm 19 now. Woo. Whatever. 19 is a stupid age. There's nothing fun about it other than being the last year of teenage years. One more year til complete legalness! But anyway. Sunday I had to head back to school. YUCK. Along the way, I stopped at my dad's fiancee's house. It's like an hour from mine. I stopped to see her daughters, and her and my dad were up there so I stayed to chat for a while. Like 3 hours. So I ended up heading back to school in the dark. It was kinda creepy yet awesome at the same time. Seems to take longer in the dark even if I am going the same speed.
Monday was my test in Intro to Business. I got a 91% ! One of the best grades in my class lol. I'm doing pretty good this semester. Way better than at K-State. (sorry, Chase) I didnt do much else on Monday, except work on my powerpoint for BPA.
Tuesday. I dont remember this day. Let's skip it.
WEDNESDAY! Omg what a hectic day that was. I had to get up at 7 am to deliver cookies for our weekly fundraiser thing. But the cookies fucked up in the oven and the bakers and I had to miss most of class which was crucial to the BPA competition. But my teachers caught me up. I finished my powerpoint completely and packed for the competition.
Thursday was my birthday! I know i said that but you know. We had to leave for BPA state competitions at 7 am. We got to our hotel around noon and we had to get dressed up for the opening ceremony for the competitions. For the competitions, all you do is take tests in the subjects you sign up for and hope you do a good job. My first test was at 4 thursday afternoon. It was Advanced Office Systems and Procedures. Sounds complicated right? IT WAS. I'll tell you what i placed in a bit. Then I had another test at 6 in Fundamental Spreadsheet Applications. That was easy as breathing. I tell you what i placed in that too. So I only had 2 test thursday night. We're required to take 3 and then we had to take 3 tests in the open events (those are for everyone). So I got back to the hotel and my roommate, Daneen, and I ordered pizza for dinner. Took us literally 2 hours to figure out what we wanted. We finally settled on 3 pizzas; pepperoni, sausage, and cheese, and then get some cheesey bread. YUM. Then bed time!
Friday, I had my last major test at 8:30 am. It was in Powerpoint Presentation Management - Individual. We were given a topic. The topic was, we were an event planner for the 2015 national leadership conference location. So we had to pick a city, research it, and present it. I did mine on Portland and so did one of my other BPA friends from my school. Out of all the big ass cities in America, we chose the same damn one. I betcha Jackie copied me. I'll tell you how I did in that in a minute. Also on Friday, I took my 3 open tests in: Computer Technology, Informational Technology, and Management/Marketing/& Human Resources. I did pretty well in those. After everyone was done testing, part of the group went out shopping for an hour or so just to get away. Then we grabbed the rest of the group back at the hotel and had a group dinner at Monterrey which is an amazing mexican restaurant. My teacher, Jodi (we call her by her first name to her face too), was complaining that she was gonna turn 30 this summer. I laughed and said "omg" just like that and everyone at our table laughed. I thought Jodi was gonna choke on her tea for a minute. But it was awesomely fun. After dinner, we went back to the hotel, and there was a BPA social event for everyone there. I didnt go. I fell asleep at like 8 pm lol. Go me.
Which brings me to today. We had to get up at 8 am to get ready for the awards ceremony at 10 am. I was nervous as fuck cuz I was afraid I didnt do as well as I thought I would've. BUT for the moment of truth:
In Fundamental Spreadsheet Applications = I GOT FIRST PLACE!
In Advanced Office Systems and Procedures = I GOT SECOND PLACE! still as awesome!
I didnt place in my Powerpoint Presentation THANK GOD cuz I did NOT wanna take that event to nationals.
I placed top 10 in all three of my open tests I believe. I dont remember. My certificates wont come til sometime next week. until then, I cant tell you what I placed in lol.
So, that's that and I get to go to nationals! Which, this year, is in DALLAS, TEXAS! Where my roots come from. WOOT WOOT! Nationals are during the week before fuckin finals. OUCH but who cares! I'M GOING TO DALLAS! If you havent guessed, I'm excited. Cant wait.
So that's how I've been and what I've been up to.
As for the song of the day, I dont have one lol. I can't pick one at the moment but no big deal right?
Right!
Have a good rest of the weekend!

Happy Friday the 13th!
My day has been pretty good so far, surprisingly.
I know I haven't posted the past so many whatever days. Monday night, my dad called and told me that my last living grandma had passed away the previous day (Sunday).
My family is pretty weird.
I've always had my real mom. When I was four, she divorced my real dad. About a year later, she remarried my step dad, who adopted me.
My real dad's mom is the one that passed recently. So it's kind of awkward because I haven't talked to any of them, besides my grandma, in about 14 years. Well, I saw my real dad and his new wife and sister at my mom's funeral. Talk about awkward between step dad and real dad.
Despite what my biological parents went through, my grandma still wanted to keep in contact with me because I'm awesome. But she sent me christmas cards and birthday cards every year. I'll miss that. Sometimes we would write back and forth just for fun. I always loved trying to decipher her old handwriting.
Either way, I'm gonna miss my grammy, of course. It hasn't hit me yet since I haven't talked to anyone since my step dad was the one who called and told me. I'm gonna call my cousin tomorrow, see how everyone's doing, catch up on things, all that good stuff.
Other than my grammy passing away, I've been really sick during this same time. My (step) dad and I figured it had to have been the flu, since nothing else made much sense. I'm finally over it. After 64 hours of not being able to eat anything, I finally managed to keep a sandwich down this morning on my way home from school. Yay!
I'm pretty excited about a couple things. One, next thursday, I'm leaving with my BPA (Business Professionals of America) group to compete in a state-wide competition. There's different categories you can compete in, each person gets up to three. Mine are: 1.) Fundamentals of Spreadsheets, 2.) Advanced Office Practices, and 3.) PowerPoint Presentation - Individual. I'm looking forward to it.
The second thing I'm looking forward to is that also next Thursday IS MY BIRTHDAY! Woot woot! I have to celebrate my birthday with 20 or so other people plus however many other schools are gonna be there. Who knows. But either way, I'll be 19. I know that's one of those ages where it doesn't matter but hey, a birthday's a birthday.
That's pretty much all I have.
OH, WAIT, just kidding!
Song of the day - which I'm turning into the song of the week.
I know Chase likes this song.
I Don't Care by Fall Out Boy
Hehe.
Have a safe and fun weekend!

Double-Feature Friday
As the title says. But before I go into that...
For the first day in a couple weeks, I was actually stalked by a human. For a while, this one yellow lab has been following me to class. Every morning when I walked out the door, there he was at the bottom of the stairs. Then he'd walk me to class, crap in my general direction, and run away. But today, I was walking to my dorm from class and one of my friends texted me saying she sees me. I couldn't see her and it was kinda creepy. Usually you can find them... but I couldn't see her. Turns out she was driving when she saw me. Creeper.
I had a pretty good drive home though. I saw a lot of semi's. One of which was pulled over by a cop. How awesome is that?! Super Awesome.
When I got back to town, I met Chase at the Union to get some chinese for lunch because in Highland, there ain't nothing decent to eat. After we ate, we... I forgot where we went. Oh, we went to the mall. Checked out the book store and hot topic, our usual spots. Then I took Chase up to campus so he could pick up his art project. I have no idea what it was but it looked cool. Yep. After he got his project, we drove by Dillon's so I could see if Donna was working. She was but she was in the back; I later found that out. Chase and I decided to go see Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. Which turned into a, "hey! let's go see two movies!" And so we did.
Underworld was pretty awesome, considering it was about the werewolves and I'm a vampire chick. It's weird how it's placed in the sequence of events in all three movies; I wont explain that just in case no one has seen it yet who wants to. Then we went along with our plan to watch two movies in one night. After Underworld, we saw My Bloody Valentine in 3-d !! It wasn't that bad to be completely honest. It was a little more bloody than I would've liked but it was decent all the same. And the 3-d affect was pretty cool. I would recommend seeing it at least once. I'm not gonna buy it but I did enjoy it. Especially the naked chick. haha.
All day, I been thinking about what song I should choose for my song of the day. Thanks to Chase, who gave me the idea, instead of one song, I'm gonna pick two to go along with the Double-Feature of the movies. Sooo, without further adieu..
Number 1:
1, 2, 3, 4 by the Plain White T's
Number 2:
Gives You Hell by the All-American Rejects
"And that's the way the cookie crumbles!" ~ (thats right) BRUCE ALMIGHTY!!
Haha.
Have a safe weekend.

I had a better day today.
Nothing new to talk about though. Besides that I'm coming home tomorrow!!
It's beautiful outside. I should go out and sit somewhere but I'll get cold from the wind eventually.
I really don't know what to talk about. I'm going to add some fun quotes to my other blog ( http://mdfritz.blogspot.com/ ) here in a minute. I got some funny ones today finally.
Since I have nothing else to talk about, here's my song of the day.

R.I.P.
So, I feel like blogging now. But it's not going to be about my day.
As much as it's gonna kill me, I wanna talk about my mom. Because everyone needs to let go but I can't.
For those of you that don't know, my mom passed away June 20th, 2008. Also the day I lost my job. Great day, eh?
She went in her sleep, which is good, I guess. My dad keeps telling me, "atleast she's not in pain anymore." My mom had a lot of health problems so I guess now she can rest in peace.
Whenever someone close dies, there's always a feeling of guilt. I will admit, I was the worst teenager. I was always mouthing off to my mom, saying shit I didnt mean but was just too angry to let it go. I will never forget all the stuff I said. Especially the last thing we said. I was on my way to work the night before and it was storming so my mom wanted me to call her when I got there. So I did, and I was such a jerk. My mom's last words to me were I love you. My last words to her were, "yeah, I gotta go." I will never forgive myself for that.
I really do love my mom, even though I never showed it. She never believed me. She was always saying how much I loved my dad more. I loved them equally but she never understood the things she did to me to make me so angry. I understand now, that she couldn't do half the things I did for her by herself. She did try, I'll give her that.
She never did see my high school graduation. Because of her health issues, she was having trouble breathing that day. I was so mad but now I should've cared less. I guess, because I was five when my mom graduated college, I saw her graduate, I thought she should atleast see me have my turn. Either way it doesnt matter. There's no changing the past.
My mom lived to be 45, almost 46. She died in June, her birthday's in July. For anybody, that's still too young.
The day she died, my dad was the one that had to find her like that. She was gone by at least 3 or 4 in the morning; 3 hours after I got home from work. My dad found her about 6 am though. He called the ambulance, police, you name it. She was pronounced dead I guess, around 9 am. My dad had the chance to calm down for a minute to wake me up and let me know. We sat on my bed hugging for God knows how long before he needed to make some calls. I pulled myself together to help. He gave me the liberty of calling the family. Thanks, dad. But I did a good job I guess. I kept it together.
My mom's sisters came to our house and made my dad and I dinner since we took it the hardest. We got everything planned and ready to go.
I saw my biological ass of a dad at the funeral. I dont know why he had the nerve to show up but that just pissed me off. I bet my mom rolled in her grave.
I dont know what more to say. But I didn't manage to keep myself together for this one but I wanted to do it. To get stuff off my chest.
I love you, mom, always and forever.

Mega Monday!
Not really.
Mondays I have one class at 9 am; Intro to Business. Most of you might be like "that sounds boring" yadda yadda yah.... I find it quite interesting. I can learn about the American economy in class, 3 days a week, rather than watching the news which I dont pay attention to anyway.
So I woke up at 6:22 am, one hour and eight minutes earlier than my alarm. I hate it when this happens. Damn you internal clock. So I woke up, went potty, tried to go back to sleep, to no avail got back up, and on the computer. Then I had my breakfast which consisted of a coke and a poptart. Oh and some gum which I still have in my mouth. I like Wrigley's spearmint cuz it lasts foreverrrrrrrr. I did some of the dishes that piled up over the weekend I WAS GONE. F- you roomies. No, I'm only kidding. My roomies are cool. I was bored anyway. YOU'RE WELCOME.
Right now I'm waiting for the cafe to open for lunch. I got bored... so I'm posting now. I'm not going to include the song of the day right now. I'll post a part 2 a bit later when I get back to my dorm. I havent even decided on a song of the day yet anyway. I'm listening closely to my iPod to see if one pops up. Otherwise... I'll turn to youtube and see what they "recommend" for me. Heh. Usually it's decent stuff. But who knows. We'll see.
I'm logging off for now. Check back later for more!!
